Family-focused intervention is a method of care delivery system which includes the pivotal role of the family. It views the patient and family as a complete entity, while supporting families in their natural care giving roles and ensuring family collaboration and choice in treatment decisions affecting patients. When it comes to mental illness especially for Bipolar Disorders its very essential for the family member to understand about the client and his illness to take care of the client during admission and remission period.
