ABSTRACT:
Nursing care is one of the major health care services. It contribute a lot to the patient healing process. The art of nursing practice is indented to help student nurses as well as practicing nurses to carry out their role and responsibilities with the complex system. The objective of the study were to assess the level of satisfaction of patients regarding the nursing care provided by the student nurses and to find out the association between level of satisfaction of patient regarding nursing care provided by the student nurses and selected demographic variable. The study was conducted in a selected hospital at Calicut. A sample of 100 patients were selected purposively for the study. A non-experimental descriptive survey approach was chosen for the study. The demographic data and the level of satisfaction were assessed using structured questionnaire. The findings of the study revealed that, 97% of subjects were highly satisfied and 3% of subjects were moderately satisfied regarding the nursing care provided by the student nurses.
