The study results revealed that the mean post test knowledge score (25.08) was higher than the mean pretest knowledge score (9.06). Enhancement between the pretest and posttest was obtained by paired t” test value 20.10 for knowledge on prevention and management of swine flu at p< 0.0001. Which was extremely significant in improving the knowledge of staff nurses. There is extremely significant association between the demographic variables like age and the post test knowledge as the chi square value is 19.48 at p value > 0.001.
